All aboard the Ice Cream Train! Enjoy a cool refreshing summer treat from our friends at Sallie's Small Batch Ice Creams before boarding our train to enjoy a leisurely ride through the Indiana Countryside. Open-air, coach, and first class lounge seating is available on our Ice Cream Trains.

Are you ready to take a trip back in time? Then visit the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in northwest Indiana to enjoy one of our normal excursions or themed train rides! Situated near the former junction of the Erie, PRR, C&O, and NYC in historic North Judson, HVRM offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and smells of railroading during its heydays.

Travel through the rural farm country of northern Indiana. See flowers, butterflies, and wildlife as we travel through the remnants of the Grand Kankakee Marsh.

  Lounge Seats (all ages) - $25.00
  Room (all ages, seats 3) - $80.00

  Infants and toddlers may ride the train for free but must ride on a parent's or guardian's lap. Tickets purchased online will be charged a booking fee. Please read our refund policy.

  • No smoking, alcohol or pets allowed on the train.
  • There are no working restrooms on the train.
  • All trains operate on CENTRAL TIME (Chicago time).
  • Train times are approximate and we are not responsible for delays.
  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes early, as late boarding is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to cancel trips and substitute equipment.
