Diesel Excursions
Ready to ride the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson, Indiana? Then you'll definitely want to plan your visit around one of our popular tourist trains. Ride behind a vintage diesel locomotive in an open-air sightseeing car, sit in the comfort of coach seating, or experience the first class accomodations. Travel through the rural farm country of Starke and southern LaPorte Counties. Flowers, butterflies, wildlife and a variety of Indiana crops are visible from the train.
Our diesel excursions depart from our depot in North Judson and travel through the rural farm country of northern Indiana. Listen for the echoing horn as we travel along our historic railroad corridor.

Toddlers (Ages 0-2) - FREEN&W 300 Business Car
First Class Seats (all ages) - $25.00Infants and toddlers may ride the train for free but must ride on a parent's or guardian's lap. Tickets purchased online will be charged a booking fee. Please read our refund policy.

General seating is available on our diesel excursions. You may choose from either open-air or coach seating when you arrive, subject to availability. First class seating is limited.

- Trains run rain or shine.
- No smoking, alcohol or pets allowed on the train.
- There are no working restrooms on the train.
- All trains operate on CENTRAL TIME (Chicago time).
- Train times are approximate and we are not responsible for delays.
- Please arrive at least 30 minutes early, as late boarding is not permitted.
- We reserve the right to cancel trips and substitute equipment.
