Welcome to the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum

Are you ready to take a journey back to a bygone era? Then visit the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in northwest Indiana. Situated near the former junction of the Erie, PRR, C&O, and NYC in historic North Judson, HVRM offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and smells of railroading during its heydays. Visit the museum or take a train ride on an authentic caboose pulled by a vintage diesel locomotive. There's lots to do and see at HVRM!

Important Information

The museum is open every Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm CENTRAL TIME (Chicago time). Our regular trains depart from our depot in North Judson at 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm on most Saturdays. We highly recommend buying your online to avoid disappointment. Please check our full schedule for more information and to buy tickets. 

FEDERAL LAW REQUIRES WEARING A MASK WHILE ON MUSEUM PROPERTY AND WHILE RIDING TRAINS. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN DENIAL OF BOARDING OR REMOVAL. REFUSING TO WEAR A MASK IS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW AND YOU MAY BE SUBJECT TO PENALTIES UNDER FEDERAL LAW.
